Toy Shop - King Jouet

King Jouet is a large store and part of a huge franchise, located just outside Sant Pere de Ribes on the way to Vilanova.

King Jouet is a great place for buying babies/children´s toys as well as strollers, prams, play mats, bottles and general accessories. Items are reasonably priced.

A Taste of Home - English Supermarket is reasonably large with a very good selection of English food (stock of over 2000 items) for those who miss homecooking. They also cater for Americans, Germans and Dutch and deliver on a very regular basis to Sitges.

Kiabi, located just outside Sant Pere de Ribes on the way to Vilanova, sells very reasonably priced baby clothes, sleeping bags and a range of clothing for teenagers and adults. There is a children´s play area just outside the changing rooms, which is pretty handy for mum.

Comments:
As part of the Zara chain this shop has very reasonably priced clothes for babies and tots. In addition to clothes, Kiddy's Class offers other products such as children's fragrances, cosmetics, and small accessories like bracelets and necklaces.

A very good selection of prams, car seats, baby chairs, monitors, furniture and toys/dvds. Few tales of problems with ordering some products not in stock so probably best to buy off the shelf. Helpful staff who will fit car seats!

Drim is part of a large chain of shops that claim to be the largest supplier of baby items, childrens toys/games and hobby equipment in Catalunya

Located just outside Sitges, Drim has a reasonably large collection for babies such as changing mats, prams, car seats and furniture. It also has a good range of toys for toddlers and older children

Hipp Organic Food - Sabeco Supermarket

Sabeco supermarket is part of a large chain and is located just outside Vilanova in an industrial park.

Comments:
Sabeco Supermarket occasionally stocks HIPP organic formula (10 Euros instead of 22 Euros in other places) and always has plenty of HIPP organic jars much cheaper than many of the other outlets. They have recently started selling organic fruit and veg although the selection is pretty limited at the moment. They do not sell organic meats.

Veritas is a fantastic shop for those who wish to be 100% environmentally friendly and organic. It sells not only a good range of organic fruit, vegetables, meat and other produce but also a fair selection of baby food and formula as well as organic nappies, wipes, washing powders and detergents. Be warned as with all organic food stores in Catalunya this shop is quite pricey!

L´Anec Blau is a shopping centre about 10 minutes drive from Sitges (second motorway junction for Castelldefels). Great selection of clothes and toy shops as well as fashion shops for Mum. Open 10am - 10pm Monday - Saturday and 11am - 10pm Sundays and public holidays.

Indoor shopping centre with plenty of choice for children (and mums). Zara Home, Imaginerium etc for toys and quite a few clothes shops for babies, children and teenagers - Great for prams. Lots of restaurants, a cinema and baby changing facilities as well as a ludoteca (with a guarderia service) on the top floor. Well worth a visit and saves a trip into Barcelona. Although you do need a car to get here (lots of free parking)

Organic Food - Centro Mandala

Mandala is a health food shop that has a good range of organic fruit and veg, as well as meat, cheeses and Tofu.

Staff are really helpful and will make up fruit and veg boxes for you as well as place orders for organic meats - I found this a god send!. Look out for various baby massage, yoga and pregnancy courses throughout the year. This is quite a meeting point for international mums and there is a fantastic cafe/restaurant with outside terrace.
