Minibiza is a completely new way for children to have fun with original toys in the open air in a huge garden specially adapted for them. Different Workshops are organized in which the children have a fantastic time. All this for the children while the grown ups can go off and do their own thing, or stay and have something to eat or drink in pleasant surroundings. There is also the opportunity to celebrate Parties or Birthdays in chic and extremely original fashion.

The difference is it is all natural/wooden toys, puzzles, games etc etc. It has many 'eureka kids' things and 'djeko' The play area is filled up with all these toys too - little toy kitchen/ shop , puzzle area, soft play area.... and not all plastic!" Aquarium Cap Blanc, Ibiza

Aquarium Cap Blanc", better known as "The lobster cave", owes its name to the traditional use it had in the past as a lobster vivarium.
In the past, the cave was adapted for use as a fish and lobster reservem with five water inlets, still conserved today, which guarantee correct water circulation and oxygen levels.
From the reserve, lobsters were exported to the markets of Barcelona and other cities. Also, fishermen kept here the live specimens they had caught but not sold, to sell in times of bad weather when fishing was impossible.
In 1989 the cave was converted into the aquarium wich we know today, where visitors can find a wide selection of the species of Mediterranean fish from the waters around Ibiza, such as the majestic dusky grouper or the discrete rainbow wrasse and damsel fish.
At present, the installations are used by the "CREM", the Marine Recuperation Centre, so there are often sea animals recovering here, especially turtles. This practices was carried out even before the local authorities became responsible for it.
As a curious detail, it is believed that years ago, the "vell marí" (Monachus monachus) inhabited the cave and it seems that its extinction was caused by local fishermen´s nets.
