La Penyora

Recommended by Angela Schweizer

Situated in the Old Town, at La Penyora you'll find good local fare and, if you order from the pre-fixed menu, it´s a real bargain. Its a tiny local restaurant, so a lovely ambience for families.
Nou del Teatre, 3. 972218948

Comments:
The restaurant suggests that you call in advance to let them know if you are bringing children so they can prepare a separate menu. There are no changing facilities but the owner will find a quiet space for you if needed.

Le Bistrot

Recommended by Tom Maidment

Le Bistrot Image

Situated in one of the pretties medieval streets of the city, this lively restaurant offers regional specialities such as rabbit and duck. At around 9 euros for two courses and a drink, the set menu is a bargain. They have high chairs, but no changing facilities or children´s menu.
Calle Pujada Sant Domènec 4, 972218803

Comments:
The climb up the steps to the restaurant is a bit tricky with a buggy but well worth it if once there! The owners prefer to speak in Catalan rather than Spanish.
