Parks and Play Areas in Barcelona

Parks and Play Areas in Barcelona Image

As many families in Barcelona tend to live in apartments, play areas in the city are extremely popular, particularly at weekends. There are hundreds around town, both inside and out. The city also boasts some fabulous green spaces and parks where you can take a buggy or take the kids to let off a bit of steam. Below are our members´ favourites but if you would like to recommend a play area or park in your district, please send us your comments

Not that it rains much in Barcelona, but when it does Happy Parc is a great option. There are two play areas, one for the under 5s and another for the older children, There's climbing, slides, a ball area and plus staff on hand to watch what's happening. Unfortunately the opening times don´t suit everybody but it is generally empty during afternoons at the  weekends. 5-9pm Monday to Friday. 11am - 7pm at the weekend. Entry 4 euros (per child)
