L´Anec Blau is a shopping centre about 10 minutes drive from Sitges (second motorway junction for Castelldefels). Great selection of clothes and toy shops as well as fashion shops for Mum. Open 10am - 10pm Monday - Saturday and 11am - 10pm Sundays and public holidays.

Indoor shopping centre with plenty of choice for children (and mums). Zara Home, Imaginerium etc for toys and quite a few clothes shops for babies, children and teenagers - Great for prams. Lots of restaurants, a cinema and baby changing facilities as well as a ludoteca (with a guarderia service) on the top floor. Well worth a visit and saves a trip into Barcelona. Although you do need a car to get here (lots of free parking)

A Taste of Home - English Supermarket is reasonably large with a very good selection of English food (stock of over 2000 items) for those who miss homecooking. They also cater for Americans, Germans and Dutch and deliver on a very regular basis to Sitges.

Set up by two mums, Sussie & Judit, de Nen a Nen works as a consignment store. This means that you deposit your things in the store and they sell them. Once sold you split the benefits. Please give them a call or send a mail if you are interesed in selling things, the space is limited and filled to the very last centimeter, so depending on the need at the moment they decide whether to accept the products or not.

Sabeco Supermarket occasionally stocks HIPP organic formula (10 Euros instead of 22 Euros in other places) and always has plenty of HIPP organic jars much cheaper than many of the other outlets. They have recently started selling organic fruit and veg although the selection is pretty limited at the moment. They do not sell organic meats.

Lulabay is a unique place in Sitges for leisure, relaxation and shopping where kids can play while the grownups shop (organic products, toys and clothing), have a cup of tea, or simply read a book from the library. They also have a sofa ideal for mums who want to breastfeed. There is a large studio with a program of workshops for all ages and a schedule of lectures and children's shows at the weekend. If you are interested in participating in a workshop for adults there is a baby-sitting service in the play area. There are also plenty of workshops for babies and toddlers such as dancing, yoga and kindermusik.

Staff are really helpful and will make up fruit and veg boxes for you as well as place orders for organic meats - I found this a god send!. Look out for various baby massage, yoga and pregnancy courses throughout the year. This is quite a meeting point for international mums and there is a fantastic cafe/restaurant with outside terrace.

Veritas is a fantastic shop for those who wish to be 100% environmentally friendly and organic. It sells not only a good range of organic fruit, vegetables, meat and other produce but also a fair selection of baby food and formula as well as organic nappies, wipes, washing powders and detergents. Be warned as with all organic food stores in Catalunya this shop is quite pricey!
