Slava's Snowshow
The award winning Slava's Snowshow has been seen by more than 2 ½ million viewers in over 30 countries. Slava, the most acclaimed clown of all time, brings his troupe to Barcelona, in a performance unsurpassed in scenic setting, emotion and romance. Slava was born in a small town in Russia, far from the cities. His childhood was spent in the forest, the countryside and the seashore. His dream was to become a clown. At age the age of 17 he travelled to Leningrad and joined a mime school. Thus began his long crusade to reclaim and re-position the art and craft of the true clown. Influenced by great artists such as Chaplin, Marcel Marceau, Engibarov, and adding to this his natural talent, Slava and his theater company founded in 1979, unearthed the circus clown art to take to the streets and from there to the most important theaters around the world.
