Creixell
Creixell´s beach, granted awards for accessibilty for people with disabilities and also for its Ecofriendliness, is almost 2kms of interrupted sand. There is a lifeguard service, showers, wheelchair and buggy access, sunloungers, pedalos, refreshments, toilet facilities and children´s playgrounds.

Torredembarra
There are three beaches at Torredembarra, Platja de la Paella (2000m of cliffs), Platja de Baix a Mar (fisherman´s quarters) and Platja dels Muntanyans (coastal ecosystem of dunes). The beaches all offer lifeguards, showers, wheelchair and buggy access, sunloungers, refreshments, toilet facilities and children´s playgrounds. Please note only the beach Baix a Mar has a childminding service.

Cunit
Cunit´s beach is 2.5km long and has seven breakwaters that make several coves, which afford the visitors more privacy than is typical of a long stretch. The beach has lifeguards, showers, wheelchair and buggy access as well as sunloungers, pedalos, refreshments, toilet facilities and a playpark for children. On the beach there is also a games area with a childminding service for young children.

Calafell
The town of Calafell, has been granted the family friendly award by the Catalan government and boasts 5km of uninterrupted seafront with three beaches, that have all been awarded ISOs for their high quality. The three beaches all offer lifeguards, showers, wheelchair and buggy access, sunloungers, pedalos, refreshments, toilet facilities and children´s playgrounds. Please note only the beach Platja Mas Mel - L´Estany has a childminding service.

El Vendrell
El Vendrell offers 7km of beach, divided into three areas (Coma Ruga, Sant Salvador and El Francas). These beaches are supposedly particularly healthy due to the high percentage of iodine in the water. All three beaches offer lifeguards, showers, wheelchair and buggy access, sunloungers, pedalos (Francas currently does not), refreshments, toilet facilities and children´s playgrounds. Only the Coma Ruga beach offers a childminding service.

Roda de Bara
Here there are 2kms of beach, allocated into four seperate areas Llarga, Punta de la Guineu, La Pellisseta and Francas-Costa Daurada. The beaches all offer lifeguards, showers, wheelchair and buggy access, sunloungers, refreshments, toilet facilities and children´s playgrounds. Please note only the beach LLarga has a childminding service.

Tarragona
The 6km of Tarragona beaches are known for their safety, cleanliness of the water and beach restaurants. In total there are nine beaches, Platja de Tamarit i Cala Jovera, Platja de la Mora, Cala de la Roca Plana, Cala Fonda, Platja Llarga, Platja dels Capellans/Cala Romana, Platja Sabinosa, Platja Arrabassada and Platja del Miracle/Comandancia. There are no facilities (aside from first aid) on the Platja de Tamarit i Cala Jovera, Cala de la Roca Plana, Platja dels Capellans/Cala Romana and Cala Fonda. The remaining beaches offer lifeguards, showers, wheelchair and buggy access, sunloungers, refreshments and toilet facilities. It is only the Platja Llarga that offers a childminding service.

Vila-Seca
La Pineda Beach in Vila-Seca boasts 3km of fine sand, divided into three areas, which all offer lifeguards, showers, wheelchair and buggy access, sunloungers, refreshments, toilet facilities and children´s playgrounds but no childminding service.

Salou
Salou is perhaps the most famous and most visited area of the Costa Dorada with tourists returning year after year for the beaches, activities and busy nightlife. There are nine beaches in all (Cala Crancs, Cala Vinya, Cala Font, Cala Penya Tallada, Platja Llarga, Calla Llenguadets, Platja Capellans, Platja de Llevant and Platja de Ponent) with a variety of watersports for all the family to enjoy. Cala Penya Tallada is the quietest of all the beaches with no real facilities. The other beaches all offer sunlounge hire, showers, refreshments, toilet facilities and wheel chair/buggy access. Platja Llarga and Platja de Llevant both offer children´s play areas and childminding facilities.

Cambrils
A popular tourist destination, Cambrils has nine beaches; Platja del Cap de Sant Pere, Platja de Vilafortuny, Platja de L´Esquirol, Platja del Cavet, Platja del Regueral o Prat d´en Forest, Platja de la Riera, Platja d´ Horta de Santa Maria, Platja de la Llosa and Platja de L´Adriaca. Platja de la Riera is the quietest of all the beaches with limited facilities. All other beaches offer refreshments, toilet facilities and shower facilities however Platja del Cap de Sant Pere is not recommended for buggies or wheelchairs. The largest beaches are Platja del Regueral o Prat d´en Forest, Platja del Cavet and Platja d´ Horta de Santa Maria with the latter two offering childminding services.

Mont Roig / Miami Platja
Miami Platja, known for the water sports offered by its sailing school (Estacion Nautica), is 12kms of sand comprising of eleven different coves; Platja de la Pixerota, Platja de Rifa, Platja dels Pilans, Platja de la Casa dels Lladres, Platja de L´Estany Salat, Platja dels Penyals, Cala de les Sirenes, Cala del Solitari, Cala Misteri, Cala California, Cala Bot/Cala dels Angels/Platja Cristall. Most of these coves offer limited facilities aside from Cala Bot/Cala dels Angels/Platja Cristall with lifeguards, showers, toilet facilities, wheel chair/buggy access, refreshments, sunlounge and parasol hire and a chilen´s playarea with childminding facilities.

L´Hospitalet de L´Infant
The area of L´Hospitalet de L´Infant has four different beaches, all slightly quieter than the majority on the Costa Dorada. Punta del Riu, Platja de L´Arenal, Platja del Torn and Platja de L´Almadrava all offer refreshments, showers, sunloungers and parasol hire, toilet facilities and first aid. Platja de L´Arenal and Platja de L´Almadrava have children´s playparks but none of the beaches have childminding facilities.
