  3. Jeanne Weis - Calle Raurich 8

    Beautiful and colourful shop selling simple dresses, trousers skirts and shirts all from different African prints. If you can't find the piece you like in the right fabric you can have it made up for the same price in a week. They have some great kids pieces, as well as artisanal jewelery, dolls, purses and bags. You can also buy the fabric by the metre.

  4. La Manual Alpargatera - Calle Avinyo 7

    This authentic shop sells traditional Spanish footwear in every colour, and many different styles. The shoe was first known to have been worn over four thousand years ago, a tradition that though varied in style has survived until today. They remain ecologically friendly, the sole is made from vegetable fibre and the instep cotton and linen. Loved by locals and tourists.

    This is among the few vintage shops worth visiting in Barcelona. Brimming with antique textiles, and an eclectic mix of vintage dresses from various eras. Among its most precious items are the authentic Japanese Kimonos form the twenties as well as the silk vintage nighties come evening dresses

  6. Nunoya - Calle Banys Nous 20

    This shop specialises in Japanese and Oriental Kimonos, in many different fabrics, which are also available to buy by the metre. You will also find cute things such as toe socks, origami pieces, traditional slippers and wonderful books.

    Recently opened, La Basilica is hidden up one of El Gotico's narrow streets. They sell a lot of contemporary jewellery and a small selection of more elegant clothing by local designers.
