SEK has several centres in Europe including one in Barcelona.
Small, inner-city private non-denominational Spanish school_part of group of 6 schools so really well resourced, caring progressive attitude 5 mins from Atocha stn. We chose it because 1) location 2) positive environment 3) no points system ie. easy to get in 4)impressive resources. Not officially bi-lingual but they are serous about languages/environmental & behavioral development issuesClick here for an interview with Andrew Atkinson of SEK Institution

Comments:
"All 3 children have been very successful, despite their very different personalities.....This is the feature that I like most about the school. They provide detailed feedback on homework and they are always willing to arrange a meeting if we feel the need. So all in all very positive. They also happen to be relatively inexpensive. However, they do have waiting lists for most years. About 80% of their intake is Spanish, but the teaching is entirely through English (except of course for Spanish and French)" (TC)
