Atenas Playgroup is an international group of parents in the Arganzuela area of Madrid who meet every Monday in Parque de Atenas from 17.30 - 18.30. In the hour that they are together they sing, play games and have storytime all in English. Situated just behind Chueca's Metro station is a fabulous municipal food market.
As you expect from Chueca, the stalls' produce is displayed a little differently, and there's a fun atmosphere, with plenty of bars, much like Mercado San Miguel, but without the fancy arquitecture. On the third floor is a terrace bar and restaurant 'La Cocina de San Antón'
