Everyone from Julia Roberts to your Granny has been known to do it. If you fancy picking up a pair of knitting needles and making some friends while at it check out the Madrid Knitting Group. This a group of knitters who meet once a month. The info for where and when is on the site in both English and Spanish. It doesn't matter if you're a beginning knitter (or even if you don't know how to knit at all but are interested in learning). Different venue each month
